Yonex

In our 8th consecutive year, GPJ Australia brought to life another amazing campaign for Yonex, featuring four concurrent zones: the Pop-Up Shop, Public Activation at Showcourt 3  Stringing Room, and the product Distribution Room.

The Pop-Up Shop in central Melbourne was a hub of excitement with player appearances, the launch of the new EZONE tennis racquet, Yonex equipment testing centre, food & beverage collaborations with local brands, a free stringing service for amature tennis players and an interactive photo booth for fans to capture the action.

For the Stringing Room, we fitted out the official space for the Yonex team to ensure we achieved maximum brand exposure during any live TV cross as well as workshopping ergonomic solutions for the stringing team

The Distribution Room, located at the Grand Hyatt, allowed players and coaches to collect their gear before heading to the court. Here, they could also unwind while playing a fun hybrid Badminton/Paddle game.

Our Public Activation at Showcourt 3 was a crowd favourite featuring the “Fine Tuned” activation, adding an interactive competitive element for fans to play in their free time.

In addition to the physical components, we engaged our sister agency Darkhorse to assist with on-the-fly content creation and social media engagement pieces to showcase the work Yonex were doing at the AO.
